Lessons learned from hiring people and a few of my tips:
Tip #1: Spot the lier and DON’T give them a slack.
Tip #2: Teach employee your vision. It is your business and take care of it whenever you think it’s not good enough for your business. If they don’t understand your purpose – fire them. Hire excellent people (5-star people).
Tip #3: Don’t tolerate B.S. People start showing me what they know and boss me around like they don’t know who the boss is! Stop them in their tracks! They behave like misbehaved children that need some spanking…
Tip #4: If you feel that your employee is lazy and when you ask them about 1 particular hour of their work and they don’t have an explanation for it – fire them.
Tip #5: Always support your good employees. Be friends with Honestly, Integrity and Authenticity. I always teach people to do that. When you find the right people: pay them on time, give them bonuses, respect them and love them. I love my employees that make me money. Who wouldn’t?
You must spot a bad employee pretty quick.
